Educational Technology

Final Assessment

Educational technology subject helps me a lot in terms of making movie maker and HTML. First thing is I was afraid is I can do it with the little knowledge and back ground in computer except making power point is pretty  easy for me. First with HTML I really treasure this and happy because I maid it for my own effort with all the abilities I shed it in making HTML although its quite simple but deep in my heart it was the best HTML I made. The code how to familiarizes it and the application of it. Second, the movie maker I enjoy doing movie maker I so eager to know about it for me I know its hard but when I it on my own i find myself enjoyed and making it educationally that makes other people learn from me. Even in a simple way as long as I shared, show and making proud of the final output I had.

I want to use this opportunity to thanks our dear teacher in Educational Technology 2, for sharing her skill for me, it’s help me a lot that I know for sure in the future we will used it and apply it soon.

Suggest one classroom policy that haven’t existed yet which you think will help both teachers and students in the learning process.

Suggest one classroom policy that haven’t existed yet which you think will help both teachers and students in the learning process.

The classroom policy that will help both teachers and students in the learning process maybe interactionism and able able to express feelings and thoughts without. Maybe it will be suitable because with that we are able to distinguish the emptions of the students. Since the students also the good evaluator because they are the one to say that they are not contented with the p[process of teaching and by that feedback we teachers has been challenge and we are doing our best as we can to achieve what they want. And the same thing with us we give feedback to the students for them to be more equip and develop their capabilities because I know for sure that they have something to show that we cannot   expect.

Student-Teacher Relationship

Improving students’ relationships with teachers has important, positive and long-lasting implications for students’ academic and social development. Solely improving students’ relationships with their teachers will not produce gains in achievement.

Student and teacher relationship is something with communication or interaction with each other. Student must not afraid to approach their teacher in regards of academic or to ask several question because through with it we may evaluate that the student is able to learn and pretty interesting with that matter. With this relationship the students is able to show his good performances not in academic but in any other aspect. Because if we see that our students is connected with the teacher, the students is been guided by the teacher in a right way and the students will also build trust and self-confidence to himself.

As a future educator we must not to forget to have a social interaction with our student for them to be guided to their ways. We may set a good example to them to be followed. Teachers who foster positive relationships with their students create classroom environments more

UNRULY BEHAVIOR

Giving corporal punishment to unmanageable students is a big no-no for teachers, what are the other ways to tame such kind of students?

UnrulyBehavior

disobedient, unmanageable, uncontrollable, stubborn, disorderly, riotous.

The other ways to tame such kind of student’s behavior is to give a certain punishment that the student could learn and change his/her perception. The ways how I understand the unruly behavior this kind of a students are the product that his/her community are disobedient, uncontrollable to their emotion. As a teacher we could teach the students to stop what they are doing by showing the good deeds to open their mind into realities and maybe later on the students will realize and will stop what they are doing so bad.

3 Steps to Improve Your Child’s Behavior

1) Relationship

A loving, stable relationship between parents and children is the basis for the child’s healthy social development.. The parent-child relationship is built on the words you say and the tone of your voice. It is strengthened by the laughter you share and the games you play together. It is forever bonded by the values and skills you pass on to your child every day.

2) Planning

Planning is the secret of good parenting. Watch your expectations so that you plan for good behavior rather than dread the bad. Most children’s behavior problems occur during times of transition and adjustment. Since childhood is by its nature a continual process of transition, and adjustment to rapid development, it’s easy to see that bad behavior is a natural reaction to challenges that the the child doesn’t yet have the skills to accomplish.

Planning involves knowing your child, her temperament and skills, and knowing the challenges of her environment. Use direct instruction, guidance, and practice opportunities to teach the skills she will need to cope with new challenges in the journey of childhood.

3) Response

The key is to attend to your child’s attitude, moods, and behavior; and then, respond to both good and bad behavior quickly. Learn to recognize when bad behavior is being reinforced or good behavior is being extinguished, and adjust the consequences to turn it around. This requires that we be attentive to our child and make the right response.

CHEATING

CHEATING

As future teachers, what do you think are the measures to use in order to minimize the case of cheating.

Cheating refers to an immoral way of achieving a goal, such as cheating on an exam.  Cheating is hard to break unless the students have a conscience not to cheating. Sometimes they cheat because they don’t even know the answer or they did not study ahead.

As a teacher the best way to minimize the case of cheating is to let the student take an exam but two (2) seat apart no head move left and right heads must move up and down for them to learn the lesson. The teacher must set rules when caught cheating then revert the paper and not allow them to take the exam or quiz so that the students learn and study harder.

Absenteeism

Absenteeism

How does it affect the student’s learning. How to deal students with excessive absences.

Absenteeism is a habitual pattern of absence from a duty or obligation. Its affect students performace maybe for several factors that the reason why a student often not to attend the regular class, such as stress, bullying, financial and emotional problem to the family that may cause that the student absenteeism.

So, how to deal students excessive absences. The teacher must monitor the students regularly especially the performance of a student and seek the student and asked what is the main problem why he/she is absent. The K to 12

The K to 12 Program covers Kindergarten and 12 years of basic education (six years of primary education, four years of Junior High School, and two years of Senior High School [SHS]) to provide sufficient time for mastery of concepts and skills, develop lifelong learners, and prepare graduates for tertiary education, middle-level skills development, employment, and entrepreneurship.(www.gov.ph/k-12/)

my opinion in K to 12 education program, it could help students to practice and master the basic education taught from nursery, primary education, junior and senior or high school level for them to easily adapt and understand the lesson as well. The good things with the K to 12 programs is, the students may have the foundation for the total development.Students acquire in-depth knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes through continuity and consistency across all levels and subjects. The advantage with the K to 12 after the students finishing Grade 10, a student can obtain Certificates of Competency (COC) or a National Certificate Level I (NC I). After finishing a Technical-Vocational-Livelihood track in Grade 12, a student may obtain a National Certificate Level II (NC II), provided he/she passes the competency-based assessment of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). So, the students can work and develop in different skills.
